     RENO, Nev.—Noted Hollywood stunt vehicle driver and SCORE 10 racer Mike Johnson will glimmer in the SCORE spotlight during tonight’s broadcast of the SCORE Dirt LiveHD Internet show. The show will air at 7 p.m. (PT) at www.score-international.com.
Born and raised in Southern California, Johnson has won Class 10 in both of the last two years in the Tecate SCORE Baja 500 in the No. 1031 Bronson Motorsports Chevy-powered Alumi Craft open-wheel desert race car. He will be joined in the SCORE spotlight tonight by a youthful Class 1/2-1600 racer as well as prominent young female Monster Truck driver.
Johnson, 45 of Santa Monica, has competed in motocross, dwarf cars, sprint cars, midgets and short-course racing in addition to the SCORE World Desert Championship. Johnson has been competing in SCORE races for over a decade as his work schedule allows.  Johnson’s longtime teammate is fellow Hollywood stunt driver Mike Majesky, 48, of Santa Monica. Johnson is also racing this season in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series of short-course events.
Johnson has also had success in business as CEO of Shelly Ward and Pursuit Systems, a company which provides car prep services, camera cars and specialty equipment to the television and motion picture industries. Johnson has been a stunt driver for more than 20 years with the Driver’s Inc. organization. His skills have been featured in hundreds of car commercials and major motion pictures, including the Transformers saga, Mission Impossible 4, Fast & Furious, Django Unchained and the Expendables.
Enjoying its 41st season in 2014 as the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization, SCORE International and its racers are now featured on the weekly SCORE Dirt LiveHD broadcasts. During tonight’s 26th episode of the 2014 SCORE Dirt LiveHD season the other guests will be Mexico’s Kevin Sanchez, of Ensenada who races with his brother Christopher in Class 1/2-1600 and Rosalee Ramer, 17, Watsonville, Calif., the youngest Pro female Monster Truck driver in the world.
The 2014 season of SCORE Dirt LiveHD includes numerous on-site interviews in addition to the shows that are broadcast from the SCORE broadcast studios in El Cajon, Calif., just east of San Diego.
Desert racing public address announcer and former racer George Antill is the executive producer and host of the show along with periodic surprise guest hostesses including Miss Monster Energy Supercross Dianna Dahlgren. One of the regular elements of the show on a SCORE social media interchange, allowing fans and racers to comment and ask questions through the SCORE Facebook and SCORE Twitter platforms.  Another special segment most weeks is SCORE Tech Tips with SCORE Tech co-directors Jake Velasco or Art Savedra and sometimes SCORE Trophy Truck racer and prep-shop owner T.J. Flores.
With several million viewers in nearly 100 countries, the SCORE Dirt LiveHD one-hour show is broadcast live weekly and the show is anchored in 2014 around the five-race SCORE World Desert Championship.
The program is hosted on ustream.com, the world’s largest streaming internet site.
The high definition shows also include numerous award-winning video highlight packages, most produced by Mexico’s Cactus Films or San Diego’s Tempt Media. Tonight’s videos, however, will showcase Wicked Gravity Video and UTV Underground.
SCORE Dirt LiveHD also goes on-site live with expanded event coverage during SCORE events. Live event coverage in 2014 includes the entire five-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship of two races in the United States and three in Baja California, Mexico.  The fourth round of the new SCORE World Desert Championship will be the Inaugural Rigid Industries SCORE Desert Challenge at the Coyne Powersports Motorplex in Imperial Valley, Calif. on Sept. 25-28.
Last month’s Tecate SCORE Baja 500 will be televised on a delayed basis in the USA, Canada and U.S. Territories as a one-hour special on the CBS Sports Network.
