SCORE Dirt LiveHD show helps promote upcoming SCORE Imperial Valley 250;
28th Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 to air April 20 on CBS Sports Network
SAN DIEGO—Third-generation desert racer Jessica McMillin, Texas powerboat racer-turned desert racer Nick Mills and SoCal aftermarket company owner Kenny Osborn will all be in the SCORE spotlight during Tuesday’s SCORE Dirt LiveHD internet show. Round 2 of the five-race 2014 SCORE World Desert Championship series will be the SCORE Imperial Valley 250, April 24-27 in Plaster City, Calif., 17 miles west of El Centro.
The upcoming race will be taped for airing in the United States and Canada as a one-hour special on the CBS Sports Network. The first of a minimum of two broadcasts of the race is scheduled to air on Sunday, June 15 at 6 p.m. PT. Commentators for the national television show are Cameron Steele and Chris Jacobs. The race will also air internationally to over 100 countries through an international distributor.
During the 15th episode of the 2014 SCORE Dirt LiveHD season at 7 p.m. (PST) Tuesday, special video segments to air will be the trailer for the CBS Sports Network April 20 (6 p.m. PT) telecast of the season-opening Tecate SCORE San Felipe 250 and a promotional piece on the upcoming SCORE Imperial Valley 250 produced by Spectrum Advertising of El Centro. Another segment will be Tech Tips featuring Las Vegas’ SCORE Trophy Truck racer T.J. Flores who will provide detailed information regarding shock valving for desert race vehicles.

With several million viewers in nearly 100 countries in 2013, the SCORE Dirt LiveHD one-hour show is broadcast live weekly and the show is anchored in 2014 around the new SCORE World Desert Championship series which has combined his two desert racing series, the SCORE Desert Series and the High Desert Racing Association.
Jessica McMillin, 29 of San Diego, races in the featured SCORE Trophy Truck division in the No. 82 McMillin Racing Ford F-150 and part of the legendary McMillin family of desert racers. She is granddaughter of late SCORE champion racer Corky McMillin, daughter of Scott McMillin, niece of SCORE champion racer Mark McMillin, brother of SCORE champion racer Andy McMillin and cousin of SCORE champion racers Dan McMillin and Luke McMillin.
In 2011, Jessica McMillin went undefeated in winning her class in all five SCORE races to capture the Protruck class season point championship.
Nick Mills, 35, of Corpus Christi, Texas, has switched from off-shore powerboat racing to SCORE desert racing and will be racing for the first time in the unlimited SCORE Class 1 at the SCORE Imperial Valley 250 in the No. 169 Chrysler-powered Geiser open-wheel desert race car. He has also raced in the SCORE Trophy Truck spec class and he also won the SCORE Super 8 Truck class at the 2012 Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 with his younger brother Taylor Mills, 32. Taylor Mills is racing this year in the SCORE Trophy Truck Spec class.
