SCORE sponsors, racers, riders, and manufacturers, while media members from all over are interviewing, shooting pics and videos out in the open. SCORE International President Roger Norman and the entire staff, most of the drivers, riders and teams were close by at the SCORE BAJA 500 Press Conference while Contingency Day rocked on. . . You can bet there was a lot of discussion about Robby Gordon’s qualifying first on Thursday in the Trophy Truck class for the second consecutive year to start the BAJA 500 and what impact that will have on what most of the racers are saying following a more than a week of prerunning is already expected to be an extremely fast but also extremely difficult course.
