The takeover above fills the viewport like the LA Times hero, but it does not autoplay: it shows the poster (YouTube thumbnail by default) with a play button, and only builds the player when you click — so YouTube registers a genuine, user-started view.
Add data-lt-autoplay="true" for the muted-autoplay version.
With data-lt-scroll="mini" the player docks to a corner once
you scroll past; pause stops playback (and CloudFront egress)
as soon as the hero leaves the screen.
