CHANGE TO SPEED ZONES 2 AND 21
Speed Zones SZ 2 and SZ 21 distances have been increased. SZ 2 now starts at Rm 1.70 and ends at Rm 11.50. Speed Zone SZ 21 now starts at Rm 795.26 and ends at Rm 805.06. New GPS files will be available Tuesday, Nov. 13 before pre-running begins for this section on Wednesday, Nov. 14.

ONE ADDITIONAL VCP ADDED
An additional VCP designated VCP A has been added at Rm 542.69. Please note on your files.
NEW GPS FILES WILL POST TUESDAY AT 5 PM
Files will be post on the SCORE website > Race Info > Baja 1000 menu > GPS Files
New files will include the revised speed zone information and VCP. We will release two sets of GPS files on Tuesday for you to select from. One will be the start/finish area (start to RM 38.40) and inbound from 767.26 to the finish. The second option is to download the full course.

OUTBOUND PRE-RUNNING DATES
Pre-running outbound from start to Rm 38.40 will be allowed Wednesday, Nov. 14th. and Thursday, Nov 15th from 8 am to 6pm. No inbound pre-running is allowed at any time from Rm 767.26 to finish. Pre-running inbound could result in penalties. Use caution at all times as many of the roads and trails in this area are used for local traffic.
