BLINK AND YOU MISSED IT | May 2022 Issue

As with any SCORE Baja race, it's ultimately anyone's to win. No matter how fast or conservative you are, it still takes luck, skill, and a vehicle that can survive the harsh course. In this class, some racers prefer to push their vehicles to the limits, risking everything for a win, while others lay back like predators, waiting for an opportunity for a competitor to make a mistake, and pounce ahead for the win. 2021 SCORE MANAGER OTY | February 2022 Issue

Although Amber MacCachren has always been respected as one of off-road racing's elite team managers, it wasn't until the end of the 2021 SCORE season that she had the opportunity to be voted as SCORE Manager Of The Year. "Winning the championship this year and managing various aspects of the MacCachren Motorsports team is something I've worked hard at," says MacCachren. "But winning the 2021 SCORE Manager OTY is awkward for me. I'm not used to being in the spotlight, and there aren't a lot of women who are in this position, and doing this at the level that we do." SCORE MECHANIC OTY | February 2022 Issue

When Rob MacCachren won the 2021 SCORE Trophy Truck Championship, it was an all-out effort for the team to get to the SCORE Baja 400, and an act of pure sportsmanship from the McMillin team to allow MacCachren the opportunity to win it. But behind the scenes, Andres Rodriguez worked tirelessly, committed to getting the No. 11 MacCachren SCORE Trophy Truck to a third-place finish at the SCORE Baja 400. It was for this reason, SCORE fans and his teammates voted "El Lechero" for the 2021 SCORE Mechanic OTY. Read More

Rookie OTY | February 2022 Issue

Growing up as the son of a legendary off-road champion, Cayden MacCachren has been around racing since his childhood. But when he finally became interested in racing, he set out to make a name for himself, and did so this past season, being voted as 2021 SCORE Rookie Of The Year. "When I was younger, I never imagined myself racing off-road," said MacCachren. "I'd go UTV riding with dad and it wasn't until I turned 16 that I began to have an interest in it". Read More

A Four-Hour Battle | May 2021 Issue

The record-setting field of 31 SCORE Trophy Trucks roared into the San Felipe desert at full-throttle to take on the 280.2-mile course. After qualifying, Bryce Menzies, Andy McMillin, Luke McMillin, Gus Vildosola and Alan Ampudia were the first to start the race for the field. The McMillin cousins continued a relentless pace chasing Menzies in the #7 AWD Red Bull truck, each trying to avoid any potentially time soaking mistake that would slow them down and cost them the win.
