RISING TO THE TOP | June 2024 Issue

The only sure thing about SCORE Baja racing is that you can always expect the unexpected. A total of 254 entries wanted to battle for a win at this year’s BFGoodrich Tires 56th SCORE Baja 500. But this year’s race would end up with several shake-ups in top classes, which began when a 482.97-mile course was introduced to teams weeks before the start of the race. Read More

METHOD RACE WHEELS QUALIFIER | June 2024 Issue

The race lived up to its reputation for being tough and treacherous in its own way. While the SCORE San Felipe 250 – the first race on the SCORE International calendar – is known for high speeds and long stretches of suspension-stressing whoops, the SCORE Baja 500 delivered some of that, but mixed in with a tighter and more technical racecourse featuring tire-biting rocky obstacles and deep silt beds that devoured race trucks. SAN FELIPE AT SPEED | April 2023 Issue

The first race of the 50th Anniversary Celebratory season of SCORE International began with the King Shocks 36th SCORE San Felipe 250 Fueled by Baja Vida Snacks. As racers descended upon the Baja Peninsula for pre-running, they quickly discovered three things. The first was that they could run almost all out with the fastest team winning. The second was that the course would be torture on the vehicles and tires, and third, that there would be a bottleneck heading up a tight and rocky area known as the “mini-summit.” Read More
