Toby Price (driver of record) and co-driver Paul Weel had one of those “perfect” days during the BFGoodrich Tires 56th SCORE Baja 500. Everything went according to plan. The BFGoodrich Tires 56th SCORE Baja 500 was the second round in the fourevent 2024 SCORE World Desert World Championship. The race lived up to its reputation for being tough and treacherous in its own way. While the SCORE San Felipe 250 – the first race on the SCORE International calendar – is known for high speeds and long stretches of suspension-stressing whoops, the SCORE Baja 500 delivered some of that, but mixed in with a tighter and more technical racecourse featuring tire-biting rocky obstacles and deep silt beds that devoured race trucks. The first race of the 50th Anniversary Celebratory season of SCORE International began with the King Shocks 36th SCORE San Felipe 250 Fueled by Baja Vida Snacks. As racers descended upon the Baja Peninsula for pre-running, they quickly discovered three things. The first was that they could run almost all out with the fastest team winning.
