    ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico—‘Celebrating 52 Years of SCORE Desert Racing Excellence’, online voting has begun for the 2025 SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year Awards and will continue until 6 p.m. (PT) on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, officials of the SCORE World Desert Championship announced today.

     Having completed 52 years as the World’s Foremost Desert Racing Organization, SCORE International has eight annual SCORE Off-Roadsman Award winners selected by online voting on the home page of the SCORE website at… https://score-international.com/index.php

     NOTE: Maximum of one vote per day, per IP address, for the 2025 SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year voting.

     Individuals as well as manufacturers and organizations are honored through eight distinct SCORE Off-Roadsman of the Year Awards, whose winners are decided by several thousand SCORE fans through online voting including the entire SCORE membership of nearly 3,000. Among the awards to be presented are SCORE Rookie of the year, SCORE Contingency Company of the year, SCORE Pit Support Team of the year, SCORE Mechanic of the year and SCORE Team Manager of the year.

     Five additional SCORE Off-Roadsman categories, including Original Chassis Builder of the Year and Engine Builder of the Year are determined by a special points system. The SCORE Person of the Year Award is selected by a SCORE committee as is the SCORE Lifetime Achievement Award.

     Winners of the public voting and all other award winners will be honored on Saturday, Jan. 17 during the SCORE Awards Gala to be held in the historic San Diego Air & Space Museum at Balboa Park to celebrate the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship and the more than five decades of SCORE International.

     This is the 15th season that SCORE has used open online voting to determine the award winners. Prior to that, the winners were selected by way of a vote conducted solely with SCORE members.

     In addition to the special SCORE Achievement Awards and the Pro and Sportsman classes that qualified racers for class season championships, the four overall point champions will again be recognized.

     Another element of the diverse program for the evening will be the presentation of the 2025 Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards.  As it has for 40 years, the coveted Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards are presented to those racers who finish every required mile as official finishers of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship. A total of 44 rugged racers completed all 1974.25 required miles in the four-race 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship.

     Also, part of the evening will be the presentation of the SCORE Person of the Year Award which is selected by SCORE in consultation with several industry professionals and racers.

     The prestigious event will also include a colorful video/photographic tributes to the class champions of 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship produced by BCII TV, SCORE Live and GetSomePhoto.

     Popular SCORE live announcer Rat Sult, who completed his 10th year with SCORE in 2025, returns as the host of the 2025 SCORE Awards Night Gala.

      Tras completar 52 años como la principal organización de carreras fuera de camino del mundo, SCORE International selecciona anualmente a ocho ganadores de los Premios SCORE mediante votación en línea en la página de internet de SCORE en… https://score-international.com/index.php

       NOTA: Se permite un máximo de un voto por día, por dirección IP, para la votación de los Premios SCORE 2025.

       Individuos, así como fabricantes y organizaciones, son honrados a través de ocho distintos Premios SCORE a lo Mejor del Año, cuyos ganadores son decididos por miles de fanáticos de SCORE mediante una votación por internet, incluyendo a todos los miembros de SCORE con su registro vigente, que cuenta con casi 3 mil miembros.
