ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With the desert racing technology becoming available to the real off-road enthusiast, owning a 4x4 with a simple five-inch lift kit and mud-terrain tires won't be enough to keep up with a vehicle like a stock Ford Raptor. Because no-one wants to literally get left in the dust, companies like Addictive Desert Designs in Mesa, Arizona, have come up with a truck that can not only keep up with, but surpass the performance levels of some of the best OE off-road vehicles. The Baja XT and XTR are the company's latest creations that are based on the standard Ford F-150, but built to be a notch or two above the capabilities of the Ford Raptor. "We have taken many of the cues from the Raptor," says Gary Wright, Director of Sales and Marketing at Addictive Desert Designs. "But the Baja XT trucks take it a bit further with a wider stance, aggressive wheel travel, and reinforcements that strengthen the truck to be capable of the punishment produced when a vehicle can travel off-road at higher speeds."
